Induction Process
Kimberley Care Village and Capricorn Cottage
Once you have decided to join our professional team, we will welcome you to our two-day induction programme. These comprehensive sessions will take place prior to you starting your role. During these informative sessions you will:

Learn about our services and the different roles within them.

Become familiar with our service policies and procedures.

Learn how to navigate the eLearning portal.

Identify and discuss the legislation that guides our practice.
-
Take a tour around the service you will be joining. and meet the people that live there and our friendly care team.

Complete face to face First Aid and Moving and Handling Training.
Once you have completed your two-day induction programme and all your relevant checks and paperwork have been signed off by our administration team, you will access your two-day shadow shifts. During these shifts you will be able to observe the routines and learn about your role. You will be allocated a trained mentor who will guide and support you during your probation period.
Ongoing training is a very important part of your continuous professional development.
